For tournament directors and participating families
Run the event from one accountable schedule.
A single court change can split brackets, officials, families, streams, tickets, and scoreboards into different versions.

Move the operation toward closeout
Rain closes one field after families have already left home. The director moves two games, but the bracket image, officials sheet, parking note, stream link, and volunteer schedule still show the earlier plan. One team arrives at the wrong entrance while another asks whether the result from the interrupted game will stand. The director does not need another broadcast channel. The event needs one source of change with clear downstream receipts.
How the work moves
Keep every responsible role informed
SightSmash Tournaments connects the event, divisions, teams, participants, venues, resources, officials, devices, admissions, and match identities around one accountable schedule. Registration and eligibility remain governed by their own accepted records. Court or field assignments reserve the real resource and surface conflicts before publication. Each audience receives the detail needed for its role instead of a broad export containing participant and family information.
On event day, a schedule change begins at the canonical event assignment and identifies which families, teams, officials, volunteers, ticket holders, streams, and operators need an update. Check-in, incidents, guest access, ticket scans, and live state retain their own receipts. An offline scan or local score can recover and reconcile without silently becoming the final transaction or official result. MatchRoom continues to coordinate the score for each canonical match.
Closeout explains what happened across competition and operations. Accepted results feed brackets and standings. Refunds, reversals, provider events, and settlement reconcile through the existing money records. Incidents and support cases keep restricted audiences and correction paths. The director can see unresolved exceptions before declaring the event closed, and families can follow the current schedule without gaining access to private operational or youth records.
The next responsible step
Who needs what next
From schedule to every event role
The canonical assignment supplies the current time, place, participants, resource, and role context. Downstream notices point back to that record instead of copying another schedule.
From match to bracket
MatchRoom coordinates the official result, and accepted versions feed standings or bracket progress. A local display, film tag, or imported score cannot advance competition on its own.
From operation to closeout
Admissions, incidents, refunds, resource use, work receipts, and support exceptions reconcile through named authorities before the director receives a trustworthy closeout view.
Trust and controls
The important limits stay visible
SightSmash Tournaments does not make unfinished event operations available, guarantee a schedule, create result authority outside MatchRoom, or treat a provider response as money truth. Registration, roster, facility, official, media, incident, ticket, payment, and support records retain their own authorities and permissions. The event cannot report a clean close while a moved game, unresolved incident, offline scan, disputed refund, or stale public direction still needs an accountable owner and correction.
