For event directors, facilities, and guests

Guest access should follow the event it belongs to.

Tickets, parking instructions, entrances, scans, refunds, and schedule changes split apart when each tool owns a different event copy.

Before, during, and after the event

Move the operation toward closeout

A family buys access for a Sunday tournament session and receives a parking pass for the west lot. Overnight, the venue changes the entrance and the event moves one court. At arrival, an offline scanner recognizes the ticket but not the parking pass. A volunteer waves the family through, yet the transaction record still shows unused inventory. The director needs to serve the guest now and reconcile the exception later without inventing a second sale.

How the work moves

Keep every responsible role informed

Tickets & Parking is planned around the canonical event, its guest-access policy, bounded inventory, venue entrances, parking resources, products, prices or disclosures, and current schedule. A visitor can understand what a pass covers before any transaction is offered. The public page remains informational and waitlist-only today. Future issuance must connect the order, payment evidence, entitlement, code, audience, and refund terms without treating a provider response as the final customer right.

At the venue, scanners verify a bounded ticket or parking credential against the relevant event and entrance. Offline operation records local evidence for later deterministic reconciliation; it cannot silently mint unlimited access or report final settlement. Staff need a clear exception path for moved entrances, accessibility needs, duplicate scans, damaged devices, guest mistakes, and authorized manual admission. Each override records who acted and why.

After the event, issued inventory, scans, manual entries, reversals, refunds, disputes, provider events, and ledger records reconcile before closeout. A schedule change can notify the affected audience without exposing a purchaser list to unrelated staff. The facility retains authority over physical parking and entrance operations. The event retains authority over guest access policy. Money and entitlement records explain what the guest bought and what resolution followed.

The next responsible step

Who needs what next

From event to guest product

The event, session, venue, entrance, parking resource, policy, inventory, and disclosure define what a future ticket or pass could cover. No purchase CTA appears here.

From guest pass to scan

A bounded code presents evidence of guest access for the accepted event and entrance. Offline scans remain pending evidence until they reconcile.

From exception to closeout

Manual admission, duplicate scans, refunds, disputes, provider receipts, and ledger entries remain traceable so serving a guest does not create a false financial result.

Trust and controls

The important limits stay visible

Tickets & Parking is not currently a purchase surface and makes no availability, price, inventory, refund, settlement, accessibility, or parking guarantee. An issued code, scan, provider event, event schedule, and financial record each have different authority. Physical access remains subject to the venue and event operator. Guest support must explain which receipt changed and what remains unresolved.
