For facility operators and sports programs
Every reservation should point to a real space.
Courts and fields are double-booked when availability, closures, recurring blocks, setup, and event schedules live in separate calendars.

Move the operation toward closeout
A gym has two courts, but one divider is unavailable and a school event requires the lobby. The facility calendar shows a full-gym rental, the league schedule assigns two matches, and a coach believes an old recurring block still applies. Families receive arrival instructions before the conflict is noticed. The problem begins with loose names such as “Main Gym” and ends with three groups believing they own the same physical space.
How the work moves
Keep every responsible role informed
SightSmash Facilities starts with governed venue and resource identities: the building, court, field, room, entrance, parking area, amenity, configuration, and operating constraint. Availability is not a blank calendar cell; it reflects closures, maintenance, setup and teardown, recurring commitments, capacity, activity fit, and the authority allowed to offer the space. Discovery can describe an approved place without granting reservation rights or exposing private operator notes.
A request becomes a proposed reservation against the exact resource and time. Conflict checks consider overlapping assignments, configuration, access windows, and dependencies before confirmation. When an event uses the space, the event schedule references the accepted reservation rather than copying a location label. A closure or reassignment returns to the same records so operators, teams, officials, guests, and support can see which downstream actions remain unresolved.
Observed use, attendance, and money can later inform operations without rewriting the reservation. A check-in or device signal is evidence of use, not proof of every contract term. A provider charge is evidence of settlement activity, not the reservation authority. Operators can compare forecast reservations with source-labeled observed use, correct exceptions, and close the period with the physical and financial records still distinguishable.
The next responsible step
Who needs what next
From space inventory to availability
Each offered slot refers to a governed resource, configuration, closure state, operating window, and responsible operator. A public listing cannot reserve the space by itself.
From reservation to event
The accepted reservation supplies the venue and resource context for the canonical event. A schedule change cannot silently overwrite the facility commitment.
From use to operations review
Attendance, check-in, device, maintenance, and payment evidence can explain the period while remaining separate from the reservation and from each other.
Trust and controls
The important limits stay visible
SightSmash Facilities does not guarantee availability, create a rental agreement, inspect or certify a venue, decide accessibility or safety compliance, process a live purchase, or turn forecast demand into a reservation. Facility, event, money, incident, and public-discovery authorities remain distinct and correctable. Operators also need recovery for recurring-block conflicts, partial closures, moved entrances, invalid configurations, and disputed use evidence without deleting the reservation version that families or event staff originally received and followed.
