Terms of Service

Effective August 3, 2026 · Last updated August 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of SightSmash websites, applications, mobile experiences, content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). SightSmash is operated by Field & Forge Sports (“SightSmash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, accepting an invitation, or authorizing a minor to participate, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

United States availability. SightSmash currently accepts commercial inquiries and offers paid Services only to customers located in the United States. The public website may remain accessible elsewhere for informational purposes. Availability may expand only after SightSmash publishes updated terms and operating controls.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. Adults may create accounts for themselves and, where authorized, manage household members or athletes. A person who is not old enough to form a binding contract may use the Services only through a parent, legal guardian, or authorized organization acting within applicable law and the permissions described in these Terms.

You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials confidential, use an individual account rather than shared staff credentials, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you have reported unauthorized use. Notify support@sightsmash.com if you believe an account or access link has been compromised.

2. Minors and guardian authority

SightSmash serves sports organizations and families and may process information about minors. Children under 13 may not independently create or control an account. A parent or legal guardian must authorize collection and use of a child’s personal information when required, may review or correct the child’s information, may revoke consent, and may request deletion subject to lawful and operational exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.

A guardian who creates or approves an athlete profile represents that they have authority to act for that child. An organization that invites a child or submits roster information represents that it has provided required notices, obtained required permissions, and will use the information only for authorized sports operations. SightSmash may require additional verification before granting access to sensitive youth information, media, documents, or location details.

3. Organizations, teams, and role authority

Clubs, leagues, schools, facilities, camps, tournament operators, trainers, and other organizations may designate owners, administrators, coaches, staff, registrars, schedulers, finance users, officials, or volunteers. Each user may act only within the authority granted to that role. The organization is responsible for managing access, removing people who no longer serve in a role, and ensuring that information supplied to SightSmash is accurate and lawfully obtained.

Organizations do not acquire ownership of a family’s account or personal athlete record merely because an athlete participates in a program. Families do not acquire ownership of organization records, official competition results, financial records, or other participants’ information. SightSmash may preserve an official event or competition record after a person leaves or requests deletion by removing or anonymizing personal details where appropriate.

4. Subscriptions, payments, cancellation, and refunds

Prices, billing intervals, included usage, storage or media allowances, transaction fees, taxes, renewal terms, and any promotional period will be disclosed before purchase or in an order form. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for the period shown at checkout until canceled. You authorize SightSmash and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method for amounts due.

You may cancel a subscription through the account controls made available for that subscription or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and does not ordinarily refund a current billing period unless the purchase terms, applicable law, or a written agreement says otherwise. Registration fees, team fees, facility reservations, event purchases, merchandise, fundraising transactions, and marketplace payments may have separate refund and cancellation rules displayed before payment.

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, request another payment method, restrict paid features, or suspend the affected service. You are responsible for applicable taxes except taxes based on our net income. Organizations using connected payments or payouts must provide accurate business and tax information and comply with the payment provider’s terms.

5. Content, media, data, and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit, including text, photos, video, documents, messages, rosters, statistics, and program materials (“User Content”). You grant SightSmash a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and create technical derivatives of User Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services and to fulfill the sharing choices made by an authorized user.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and choose its audience. You may not upload confidential records, copyrighted media, likenesses, or personal information you are not authorized to use. Sharing links and recipient access may be logged, limited, expire, or be revoked. Public posting is never implied by upload.

Sport statistics may come from official scorers, coaches, parents, automated analysis, imports, or other sources. SightSmash may label the source and preserve corrections. Statistics, rankings, evaluations, computer-vision outputs, and automated suggestions may contain errors and must not be treated as medical, safety, eligibility, employment, scholarship, or professional scouting advice.

AI and synthetic content. SightSmash uses AI for specified product features and may use AI-generated or AI-modified promotional media. AI outputs are labeled and are not represented as human-reviewed unless a human review is expressly recorded. See our AI Transparency notice.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to violate law; harm, exploit, groom, harass, threaten, or impersonate another person; collect or expose a minor’s information without authority; publish private contact or location information; evade consent or access controls; distribute malware; probe or disrupt systems without written authorization; scrape protected data; send spam; manipulate competition records; commit payment fraud; infringe intellectual property; or use youth, health, eligibility, film, or communication data for behavioral advertising or unrelated profiling.

You may not reverse engineer the Services except where law expressly allows it, resell access without authorization, use automated means that impose unreasonable load, or use outputs to build a competing database from protected SightSmash content. Responsible security research is governed by our security reporting policy.

7. Service operation and third-party services

Capabilities may vary by sport, organization, device, plan, location, provider connection, and operating agreement. We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue a feature, and we will provide reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid service. Scheduled events, payments, eligibility, safety procedures, official assignments, and facility access should always have an appropriate real-world backup and responsible adult oversight.

The Services may connect to payment processors, hosting providers, email or notification services, identity providers, media processors, maps, calendars, or external sports systems. Those providers may have separate terms and privacy practices. SightSmash is not responsible for a third party’s independent service, content, outage, decision, or contract.

8. SightSmash intellectual property and feedback

The Services, software, design, trademarks, logos, documentation, and SightSmash-created content are owned by Field & Forge Sports or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Services as intended.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us permission to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your confidential information or User Content.

9. Suspension, termination, and data access

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, minors, data, payment integrity, competition integrity, providers, or the Services; investigate misuse; comply with law; or address a material breach. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute terms, and authorized retention of records. Export and deletion rights are described in the Privacy Policy and may be subject to identity verification, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and the integrity of shared or official records.

10. Disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SIGHTSMASH DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ATHLETIC RESULTS, RECRUITING OUTCOMES, PROGRAM AVAILABILITY, FACILITY ACCESS, STREAM QUALITY, DATA IMPORT COMPATIBILITY, OR THE ACCURACY OF USER-SUPPLIED OR AUTOMATED SPORTS INFORMATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGHTSMASH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SIGHTSMASH FOR THE AFFECTED SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THEY APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.

You agree to indemnify and defend SightSmash from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights, except to the extent caused by SightSmash. This obligation does not apply where prohibited by law.

11. Disputes and governing law

Before filing a claim, you and SightSmash agree to send written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and to allow 30 days for a good-faith informal resolution. Notices to SightSmash must be sent to legal@sightsmash.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Pierce County, Washington, and each party consents to that venue, except that either party may seek injunctive relief to protect security, privacy, safety, or intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

12. Changes, electronic communications, and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights or a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services, email, or another appropriate channel. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

You agree to receive account, security, transaction, consent, schedule, and service communications electronically. Marketing communications are optional and may be unsubscribed from without affecting essential service messages.

Questions about these Terms: legal@sightsmash.com. Support: support@sightsmash.com. Privacy requests: privacy@sightsmash.com.
