For instructors, coaches, and families
Keep the lesson connected to the athlete.
Private coaches juggle inquiries, calendars, package balances, notes, and family follow-up without one accountable session record.

Move from preparation into action
A parent asks for a hitting lesson by text. The coach offers two times, checks a separate facility calendar, and searches a payment app to see whether the family has sessions left. After the lesson, a video clip lands in another message thread and the next assignment is buried under newer conversations. Everyone did the work, but nobody has one record that explains what was booked, what happened, what was paid, and what the athlete should do next.
How the work moves
Keep the team context attached
Private Coaching is planned as a parent-mediated path from discovery to a defined session. The request carries the athlete, responsible adult, coach, location, time, price or package context, and relevant intake without opening unbounded coach-to-minor messaging. Availability becomes a proposed appointment, not a second schedule authority. Confirmation depends on the accepted booking and facility context, while payment evidence remains separate from the session itself and from the family's right to view athlete history.
Before the lesson, coach and family can see the same practical context: who is attending, what the session covers, where it occurs, and what has been agreed. During and after it, the coach can record attendance, reviewed notes, homework, and authorized media against the session. The family decides which eligible artifacts become part of the athlete-owned history. A coach draft is evidence, not an official performance fact, and a video-derived observation requires the rights and source that make it appropriate.
The connected record makes follow-up less fragile. Package balance, refund state, next-session request, and outstanding homework can refer to the session without collapsing into one status. A correction to attendance does not rewrite payment history. A canceled facility reservation does not silently delete the coaching agreement. The aim is a dependable client relationship in which the adult, coach, athlete, session, and money handoffs remain legible to the people authorized to act.
The next responsible step
Who needs what next
From inquiry to appointment
A family request becomes a bounded proposal with athlete, adult, coach, time, location, and session purpose. Confirmation follows explicit acceptance rather than an ambiguous message reaction.
From lesson to athlete history
Reviewed notes, homework, and authorized clips can be offered to the family-controlled record. Coach observations remain source-labeled evidence and never become official statistics by proximity.
From package to reconciliation
Session use, payment, cancellation, refund, and remaining balance keep separate receipts. A provider response cannot silently grant another lesson or erase one that occurred.
Trust and controls
The important limits stay visible
Planned - not yet available. Private Coaching does not verify a coach, issue a credential, provide background checks or insurance, replace guardian authority, make medical or safety judgments, or guarantee a training result. Booking, payment, communication, media, and athlete-history permissions keep their existing authorities.
