For athletes, families, and coaches

Practice history should remember the work, not invent progress.

Athletes repeat the same skill for weeks, but assignments, context, evidence, and coach corrections disappear between sessions.

This page is held outside search indexing until the B6 public-copy and evidence gate is accepted.

The learning cycle

Turn one reviewed step into the next

A volleyball athlete leaves practice with one note: take fifty controlled serves before Thursday. At home, the athlete records the work in a phone note and sends a clip through a family message. The coach sees neither the full context nor which attempts the athlete counted. A month later, everyone remembers that work happened, but nobody can distinguish the assigned target, the athlete's own record, the coach's review, or a later correction.

How the work moves

Keep progress private and explainable

Smash Reps is the planned public name for a private repetition and practice-history path. A coach-approved assignment names the exact skill, context, target, source, and review expectation. The athlete or responsible adult can record attempts and notes without claiming that a tap, timer, or uploaded clip proves execution quality. Each entry stays source-labeled: assigned work, athlete observation, device measurement, authorized media, and coach feedback do not collapse into one score.

The daily view can make the next useful action clear while respecting progressive depth. A beginner may need a short cue and a count. A competitive athlete may use sets, context, rest, mechanical measurements, and reviewed evidence. Those details remain optional unless the accepted assignment requires them. Offline capture and later synchronization must reconcile deterministically. Corrections preserve the earlier entry so an edited count cannot silently improve the development story.

When a coach reviews the work, feedback can inform the next plan without mutating official match statistics or issuing an automatic judgment about the athlete. Family-approved evidence can enter the athlete-owned history with its source and audience intact. The useful connection runs forward: reviewed work becomes a better next assignment, and the next team practice can respond to it. The record never needs a public leaderboard or a permanent profile to be valuable.

The next responsible step

Who needs what next

From plan to personal work

A coach-approved assignment identifies the skill, context, target, and evidence expected. The athlete records work against that assignment instead of creating an unrelated counter.

From observation to review

Counts, notes, device readings, and clips keep their source. The coach can review what is appropriate without treating a self-recorded repetition as verified quality.

From review to the next plan

Accepted feedback can shape a later assignment or team practice. It does not rewrite match results, award a credential, or expose a private development history.

Trust and controls

The important limits stay visible

Planned - not yet available. Smash Reps does not judge movement automatically, guarantee improvement, issue a qualification, create official statistics, or make private athlete work public. Guardian authority, media rights, coach review, mechanical measurement, and the athlete-owned history remain separate and explicit.
