For camp directors and families
A camp seat is only the first handoff.
Families need registration confidence while directors coordinate capacity, waivers, staffing, attendance, pickup, incidents, and closeout.

Turn one reviewed step into the next
A parent registers two children for a three-day camp and receives a payment receipt. On Monday, the check-in list includes one child but not the other. The emergency contact is trapped in the registration export, the pickup authorization is on paper, and a late schedule change reached only half the staff. At closeout, the director can count transactions but cannot explain attendance, add-ons, refunds, or which family action remained unresolved.
How the work moves
Keep progress private and explainable
SightSmash Camps connects a source-governed camp opportunity to a defined offering, session schedule, capacity, family, athlete, and responsible staff context. Returning families reuse authorized details and see the exact waiver, intake, and pickup requirements for this camp. A saved registration, accepted seat, payment, and completed intake remain distinct states. Waitlist movement and add-on choices need their own receipts rather than an optimistic confirmation page.
During camp, staff work from accountable attendance, custody, authorized pickup, session, resource, and incident records instead of one broad participant export. Each staff role sees only the information needed for the job. Changes follow the current session and audience. A check-in does not prove pickup, and a pickup code does not grant access to unrelated athlete data. Corrections preserve who changed the record and why, especially when custody or safety context is involved.
Closeout connects participation evidence to refunds, add-ons, concessions, merchandise, and financial reporting only through the existing money authorities. The director can reconcile what was offered, accepted, attended, delivered, reversed, and still requires support. Families retain the athlete and household context without a camp-specific duplicate. That creates a useful path from discovery through the final receipt while keeping the camp from becoming another identity, payment, or communication silo.
The next responsible step
Who needs what next
From discovery to accepted seat
The opportunity, offering, capacity, registration, waiver, and family reuse stay connected. A payment response cannot create admission when intake or approval remains unresolved.
From family to camp staff
Authorized staff receive the minimum attendance, emergency, custody, and pickup context for their role. Household data does not become a general camp directory.
From operation to closeout
Attendance, delivery, add-ons, refunds, incidents, and support cases reconcile through their own authorities so the final camp record can explain exceptions without inventing money.
Trust and controls
The important limits stay visible
SightSmash Camps does not claim current paid registration, provider processing, child-safety certification, medical review, or verified availability. It does not replace guardian authority, staff qualification, organization policy, custody controls, incident response, or financial reconciliation. Every public camp claim must remain source-governed and correctable. A visible exception queue should show missing pickup authority, unresolved intake, staffing gaps, and failed closeout receipts before anyone reports the camp ready.
