For players, parents, and coaches

Decision training begins with the exact game state.

Players memorize rules and diagrams, then struggle to recognize the same decision when score, outs, rotation, or responsibility changes.

This page remains outside search indexing until reviewed educational content and the B5 publication gate exist.

The learning cycle

Turn one reviewed step into the next

A baseball player knows the phrase “cutoff responsibility” but freezes when runners occupy first and second, the ball goes to right field, and the defense has one out. A generic quiz says the earlier answer was correct. The coach needs to know which game-state variable changed the responsibility, whether the player understood the explanation, and what practice can reproduce the decision without turning a test fixture into public instruction.

How the work moves

Keep progress private and explainable

Game IQ is planned around qualified-review-accepted scenarios with explicit sport, rules, age or competition context, participants, score state, timing, and decision variables. A learner receives both visual and nonvisual access to the same situation. The response is scored by the accepted scenario version on the server rather than trusted from the browser. An explanation cites the reviewed rule or teaching source and shows which variable changes the answer.

Private mastery is a rebuildable view over source attempts, not a permanent label on the athlete. It can identify concepts due for review, distinguish recognition from explanation, and show uncertainty without exposing a learner ranking. A coach may assign reviewed material or add a team-system overlay, but the overlay cannot rewrite the sport rule or become public instruction automatically. Withdrawn or corrected content remains traceable to the attempts that used it.

Learning should hand off to practice. A reviewed scenario can recommend a coach-approved drill, constraint, or film example through existing planning and media records. The coach decides whether it fits the team. Later reflection may link back to the concept without converting a match result into a test score. The loop is Observe, Explain, Recommend, then human review; it does not execute consequential team decisions for the coach.

The next responsible step

Who needs what next

From reviewed rules to scenario

The scenario pins an exact source, version, sport, audience, and game state. Test-only fixtures remain ineligible for learners and public pages.

From attempt to private mastery

Server-authoritative attempts produce a rebuildable private view with version lineage and corrections. The view is not an athlete credential, public rank, or selection fact.

From explanation to practice

A reviewed concept can recommend a team exercise or authorized film example. The coach approves the plan, and practice remains accountable to its existing record.

Trust and controls

The important limits stay visible

Planned - not yet available. Game IQ does not issue or imply any credential, certification, governing-body qualification, scouting judgment, or guaranteed transfer to competition. Unreviewed generation and test fixtures cannot become learner content. Exact rules, qualified review, accessibility parity, correction, and privacy gates must close first.
